I apologize for things being so slow around here the past couple of weeks.  The end of the semester’s upon here at UF (Tim Tebow for Heisman!) and as a result deadlines tend to build up.  With three deadlines by Thursday, things will become almost unbearable here. ... Continue reading »

  • Thank you for the link to my post. I wouldn't worry too much about student loan debt - just stay away from those credit cards!
  • Yeah .. everyone says the same thing about student debt. What hurts is when you look at the amount of student debt you have and think to yourself... wow.. I could have bought a house with that hah! Mom always said I should have been a doctor.. sigh. Thanks for stopping by!
  • Would like to say a big thank you for the mention! I'm glad you enjoyed the bubble video as much as I did :).
  • It was creative and stuck to the original song pretty well. Have you seen the Bernanke Elf video yet?

That's a riot as well. Thank The Trading Goddess for that one!
  • I really like what you are doing, as it reminds me of myself. I am a freshman in college, the loans are already adding up, and I've been investing for 2 years now. Here's hoping for success for both of us!
  • College life is rough when you're middle class IMO. We get very little help from the government and less access to grants and other scholarships since we're not in financial need. I'm currently eying about 100k in loans after I'm out of here. Granted, I've been in college since 2000 and will leave with a PhD but still. 100k is nothing to scoff at. Good luck with undergrad Blake. It really is the best time of your life! I regret not investing when you did. You're in a much better position than so many around you and they don't even know it yet.
