I have a few posts in the hopper. I just feel bad since this week's been one wild ride.

Re: Wanted: Guest Posts

I use the timestamp feature all the time to do a week or more of posts. Then let the blog be on auto-pilot while I have some fun!

Re: Wanted: Guest Posts

Man.. why does everyone say that lol! We've been living together 3 years so really this is more of a formal thing than anything else. If anything, getting married relieves some of the stress and time taken away from my other duties (blog, PhD, etc.). Thanks for the vote of confidence though KC :-P

Re: Wanted: Guest Posts

Congratulations! Yeah, Wordpress uses a scheduled post feature. I have some posts in the hopper but I was looking to have a couple of extras for the days where I don't have any drafts available. That and I'm going on a cruise and have declared it an unplugged vacation. No cell phones, emails, or any electronics that can interfere with having fun hah!

Re: Wanted: Guest Posts

Congratulations!

One thing you might want to look into is using a service called "lettermelater.com". Basically the service allows you to schedule emails to be sent at whatever time you desire. I used the service to post to my blogger posting email address while i was on vacation all last week, and it worked great - it looked like I was never gone because it put up daily posts for me while I was gone. Granted, you still have to do the work of writing the posts, but it is a nice solution to posting while you're away. (Maybe wordpress already has a scheduled post feature? I don't think blogger does which is what i use)

Re: Wanted: Guest Posts

Heh. Thanks. I think. Actually, once I get these two publications out the door for my dissertation, my free time increases almost by a factor of 4 which is scary.

Re: Wanted: Guest Posts

You might need a couple of permanent writers after you get married.
