Well, be carefull. A friend of mine started with just a little money. Gained and gained. Invested reinvested...the whole thing.

Thanks for the advice. I'm hoping that this won't be an expensive lesson in the stock market. I've been interested in it for quite some time, but never had that business mentality I thought you needed for it. Hopefully I can use this blog to convey my thoughts on the market and other ideas about personal finance from a college student's point of view. We'll see!

I know, I know. Uncle Sam makes me sad. Uncles are supposed to spoil you, just not as much as your grandparents. I'm in a position, though, where I'm still in college and as such am in the smallest tax bracket. It'll help soften the blow a bit!
