I do like Iron Condors as well, but they do carry significant risk and you will need to have a strategy in place for when and how you will adjust:

I've trading Iron Condor since October 2007. I have had only 1 loss in the month of January 2008. All other months have been profitable around 10% per month or so. I believe every investor should use Iron Condors.

Not playing the market is a mistake. Look at what it has done in the past week! Using iron condors is a good argument, and I think that this post is very solid all around. I am much more of a fundamental guy, but it never hurts to re-solidify my original thinking with some technical voodoo working in my favor :)

I have to say they have a pretty good strategy, but I never play the market anymore it is just way to volatile!!
